More Information About Soleil Nile Cruise
elcome onboard our 5star Nile Cruiser M.S. Soleil. Our motor ship has been revealing the ancient Egyptian mysteries for 15 years now. Through which we have gained extensive experience in serving our guests from around the globe. A Nile Cruise is the best way to discover and witness the concentration and diversity of such great civilisation found along the Nile banks. The M.S. Soleil caters her visitors with a standard, leveled to the magnificent country side that she sales, thousands of palm trees scattered in the well defined horizon, the primitive life still competing and producing, all in a pharoah like comfort, surely makes an indelible impression.
M.S. Soleil, started as an idea early 1989 and became a reality October 1989 as this is the date when we started building it. She was finished by May 1991 and since then it has been cruising on the river Nile revealing the mysteries of the great Egyptian civilisation.
Built to the Loyd's specifications, Soleil is 61.5m long, 11.5m wide and 11.5 height from water level. She accommodates 64 guests in 2 suites, 30 double and 2 single cabins. It is powered by 2 caterpillar marine diesel engines. 2 generators each is 220KW with an output of 22v. On-board water treatment, central fire alarm, VHF radio and radar. Each cabin has individual climate control. Onboard facilities; indoor lounge, open air bar, boutique and a large swimming pool
Accommodation:
M.S. Soleil has 30 double cabins, 2 singles and 2 suites. All are very spacious with ensuite facility, individual climate control, mini bar, telephone, T.V. with satelite reception and in-house radio. They all have a minimum window view of 2sq. meter. Cabins are situated at the front of the boat , and away from the public areas, the galley and more important away from the engine room. House keeping service is twice a day for each cabin
Dining:
On M.S. Soleil guests are offered a full course meal 3 times a day, besides our daily afternoon tea on the sundeck. All meals are served in the restaurant located on the main deck with the exception of one lunch, will be served on the sundeck while sailing (weather permitting). Some of the meals will be seated while others are open buffet and the food selection is always a mix between local and international cuisine.
Activities:
We have a wide range of onboard activities for your entertainment through out the whole trip. You may enjoy the sundeck with all it's facilities; Sun lovers you can relax by the pool in between visits or while sailing enjoying the warm sun of southern Egypt. Maybe you'll be more energetic gather your friends and enjoy a game of table tennis or baby foot (football game).
As the afternoon approaches you'll be invited for the 4 o'clock tea on the sun deck enjoying the scenery as the sun goes down.
It's not over yet, the entertainment still goes on. After your delicious diner we all gather every night in the lounge on the upper deck, enjoying the nightly events whether it's a galabya party (costume party with games), a belly dancer night or the Nubian show.
Besides all the activities mentioned, we offer you anytime during your trip different types of massage to relax your body and muscles.
