Hot Air Balloon Over Luxor — Overview

How long is the entire experience?
The complete excursion lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours from pickup to drop-off. The time spent in the air on the balloon flight itself is roughly 45 to 60 minutes.
Is hotel or cruise pickup included?
Yes. Direct pickup and drop-off from any Luxor hotel, West Bank guest house, or Nile cruise ship are fully included.
What happens if the flight is canceled?
Hot air ballooning relies fully on safe wind speeds. If civil aviation cancels flights due to weather or fog, you can transfer your booking to the following morning for free or receive a 100% refund.
Can children join the balloon flight?
Children must be at least 7 years old to board the hot air balloon for safety reasons. Please note that child pricing matches adult rates for this tour.
What should I wear for an early morning flight?
Mornings can feel cool before sunrise, especially in winter. We recommend dressing in comfortable layers and wearing closed, flat shoes suitable for stepping into and out of the basket.
Is this tour private?
Your ground and boat transfers are organized privately. The actual hot air balloon flight is shared in a large passenger basket with other travelers under the care of a licensed pilot.

Any increase in entrance fees, fuel price or local taxes will be reflected on any unpaid tour immediately. However, any pre-paid tour will not be affected by the change of rates.
